What Cristiano Ronaldo was caught doing after being linked with Chelsea finally revealed

Cristiano Ronaldo, a star for Manchester United, has been linked to Chelsea.

The Portuguese star reportedly felt let down by Manchester United’s season ending showing as well as the organization’s lack of aspirations.

Ronaldo reportedly desires to compete in the Champions League next year, even though United will play in the Europa League.

Cristiano Ronaldo, a star for Manchester United, was not present on Monday as preseason began.

The 37-year-old informed the team on Monday that he wouldn’t be able to return for preseason due to family obligations, and the team gave him permission to do so.

Cristiano Ronaldo, though, was seen at Portugal’s training facility on Monday after missing Manchester United’s preseason game.

Ronaldo arrived to Portugal’s training facility outside of Lisbon on Monday afternoon, as shown on Portuguese TV station SIC Noticias.

Before the team departs on Friday for Bangkok to begin their preseason tour, it is still unknown if Ronaldo will fly back to Manchester.

Before returning to Portugal, Ronaldo vacationed in Majorca for a portion of the summer.

Tony Cascarino, a former Chelsea striker, responded to the report that Ronaldo was interested in joining Chelsea.

Cascarino told talkSPORT: “Ronaldo is a player, as always, that has an ego. A lot of it is about him, but the teams he’s played in have been successful, so you always go with that as a team player.

“Great, he scores goals; he gets the accolades; he’s one of the greatest that has ever played the game. You can have all that, and that is fine, as long as you are winning.

He added: “When you don’t win, now you have got a problem. I said to you off-air, I’m a bit suspicious because he has scored 141 goals in the Champions League.

“Messi has got 125. He doesn’t want to not play Champions League football because he wants to be the greatest Champions League goalscorer of all time, and that is how Ronaldo is made.”
