“I have no desire to leave Chelsea don’t sell me” – Chelsea star reveals
Although Matt Law hasn’t been privy to many of the deals this summer, we pay attention to him when he speaks with authority because of his connections at Chelsea.
However, His statements on RLC today, who he claims “has no desire to leave” Chelsea, either as a makeweight in a deal for an incoming player or just as a regular transfer away, couldn’t be more authoritative.
We are thrilled to hear this. We want to keep Ruben around since he is a Chelsea kid. He demonstrated his versatility by stepping in at right wing back last season, and Thomas Tuchel and the rest of the coaching staff are likely convinced by that ability that he can be a key player in this campaign as well.
We’re still a little short in center midfield, so even if we could still sign someone there, Ruben is still a fantastic backup option for now.
