Potter ‘would love to bring’£40m midfielder to Chelsea
According to latest reports, Chelsea manager Graham Potter would ‘love to bring’ attacking midfielder Leandro Trossard to the club
Thomas Tuchel is a man that is one of the very best coaches in the game and it was widely beleived that he would take the club into a new era after the arrival of the clubs new owners
But after an indifferent start to the new season – some unhappy moments off the pitch and a falling out with Ted Boehly – the decision was made by Chelsea to get rid of the German boss and replace him with Graham Potter
Potter is easily regarded as one of the finest young managers in the Premier League and has been tipped to manage one of the big clubs – but no-one could have imagined that he would be taking over Chelsea so soon into the season.
But with a new manager comes some new players – and it is believed that Potter will now look to add some players to the squad that he believes can help take the club back to the top – and players to the side that will help play the kind of football that he wants
And Journalist Simon Phillips believes that the 47-year-old tactician would be keen to be reunited with the Creative talents of Trossard in west London.
He told GiveMeSport: “Trossard, I think, is a player that Potter would love to bring in with him straight away, but obviously, the transfer windows closed, and he’ll have to wait until January.”
