Chelsea sealed progression into the last-16 of the Champions League following the 2-1 victory over Lille on Tuesday night.

Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Lille and Valencia’s 1-0 win over Ajax means the Blues finished second in our group behind Valencia. With Chelsea finishing second in our group, we would face one of the teams that finished first in their group.

Chelsea will not be able to face English teams until the quarter-finals which means Liverpool and Manchester City are ruled out of the teams we could face in the last-16 which leaves five possible opponents for Chelsea.

Chelsea would meet one of Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich in the last-16.

Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard revealed after the victory over Lille that he isn’t worried about meeting the big teams.

Lampard said: “We should be very pleased we’re there. There has been a lot of resilience and quality shown to get through the group. When you consider Ajax were knocked out you know it’s a tough one.

“It’ll be a very tough draw no matter who it is. I’ll be watching it pretty calmly. It is what it is, any team we get will be tough. This is a test and a challenge we want, and we should embrace the idea of whoever we get and go and take it on.”
