Just In: Chelsea star player close to Stamford Bridge exit

Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud is close to a Stamford Bridge exit, according to reports.

French media outlet L’Équipe via Get Football News France claim the striker is close to an agreement on personal terms with Inter Milan.

The 33 year old striker is keen on leaving Chelsea in January as he is currently third in pecking order at Chelsea behind Tammy Abraham and Belgian international forward Michy Batshuayi.

Giroud will also be third in pecking order at Inter Milan behind Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez.

But Antonio Conte’s system deploys two centre-forwards at the same time which means he would be guaranteed more playing time at Inter Milan than at Chelsea.

The french man is really on the verge to leave Stamford bridge as soon as possible because of lack of playing time.

Do you think we are making the right decision to let Giroud to leave the club
