‘A perfect coach’ – Gary Neville disclose what angry Pochettino did after Jackson scored the third goal against Tottenham

United legend Gary Neville has claimed that Mauricio Pochettino was still angry despite Chelsea sealing the game against Tottenham tonight.

He said during his coverage for Sky Sports that the manager was instead insistent on complaining at his defenders for how they were looking to close out the game.

An absolutely mental London derby eventually saw the Blues run out 4-1 winners, however the scoreline does not tell half of the story.

Tottenham shot themselves in the foot after their electric start to the game, with them picking up two red cards either side of half-time.

Chelsea really struggled to break down the nine men, until they broke the line and Nicolas Jackson scored his first goal of the night.

Pochettino fuming at defenders

The Senegal international somehow ended up with a hat-trick, as they picked up what will still be a big win against the side pushing for top of the league.

Even when the points were secured at 3-1, Pochettino was instead looking to get a message across to his defenders who had nearly let their opponents back into the game.

He said: “He’s still angry with them. He’s talking to his defenders.”

In a surreal set of circumstances, the Blues will likely feel hesitant to celebrate what before the game would have been a sensational result.

Nevertheless, there is a result there that they can take into what is set to be a tricky run of fixtures in the coming weeks.
