Abramovich finally gives Tuchel green light to bring £120m Prem duo to Chelsea and Serie A’s best player in £200 million deal

According to reports, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel will be given up to £200million to spend this summer.

Tuchel is the man of the moment right now and is on top of the world after helping the club reach that top four spots and then add another Champions League trophy to that cabinet.

But despite all the quality players that the club currently have in the side, there has been talk for weeks that Thomas Tuchel is looking to improve the squad in key areas of the pitch and was hoping to be backed by the board.

Chelsea spent around £220m under Frank Lampard last summer, which was in part to make up for the fact that the Englishman had been operating under a transfer ban since his appointment from Derby County.

But owner Roman Abramovich now sees an opportunity to capitalise on Chelsea’s success and Tuchel feels he needs at least two or three ready-made first team players to challenge for the Premier League title next term.

According to the Telegraph, former striker Romelu Lukaku is a target and Chelsea hope to take advantage of Inter Milan’s precarious financial situation to sign the Belgian.

Tuchel is keen to sign a midfielder, with the German now persuaded by previous interest in West Ham ace Rice.

Perhaps the most surprising target is Wolves winger Adama Traore. The Spaniard was a target for Antonio Conte back in 2017 but Tuchel wants competition for Reece James at right-wing back and feels the rapid former Barcelona ace is perfect for the role.
