Abramovich gives Tuchel green light to sign 25-goal player, Hazard heading back to Chelsea?, as Timo Werner finally replies to Thiago Silva’s wife
Chelsea are stepping up their chase for Romelu Lukaku after Thomas Tuchel told adding a 25-goal striker to the squad will help win that Premier League.
Thomas Tuchel is a man that knows he will need to improve in key areas of the pitch in the transfer window in order to wrestle that Premier League title from Manchester City next season, and adding a striker is high up on things to do.
There has been alot of speculation about what players Tuchel will look to sign in the window, and Lukaku has been a name that has been mentioned in the media on alot of days over the past month.
Recent reports have claimed that Roman Abramovic will give the green light for Chelsea to get a deal done for Lukaku, despite reports he is keen to stay, and Andy Cole has told the Blues that if they add a 25-goal striker to the squad, they will have a good chance of winning that title.
He was quoted on the Metro: ‘Werner works his socks off, he’s relentless. He never gives up, he would chase a piece of paper. ‘But I do genuinely believe that if Chelsea are going to win the Premier League next season, he [Tuchel] will buy a centre forward
‘He might play Werner on the left, he looks stronger there. He’s creative as well but as a centre forward you’ve got to be ruthless.
‘Where are Chelsea trying to get to? Should they buy a proven goalscorer now who is going to guarantee them 20 or 25 goals and win them the Premier League next season?
‘When you’re trying to win major honours you have to have someone who is scoring 20 or 25 goals a season.’

Would Chelsea fans welcome back Lukaku?
Reports have claimed that Real Madrid are now willing to listen to offers for Chelsea icon Eden hazard in the summer window.
After years and years of speculation, Chelsea finally decided that they would allow Hazard to leave the club in 2019 after he pushed for a move to Madrid, and in the end, they managed to get £130 million for the players services.
However, Hazard has struggled with multiple injuries during his time in La Liga, and delivered an anonymous display in the 2-0 defeat to Chelsea on Wednesday evening which sealed Madrid’s elimination from the Champions League.
Hazard angered many connected with Madrid after television cameras caught him laughing and joking with his former Chelsea teammate Kurt Zouma just minutes after the final whistle. But the Belgian has since apologised for his conduct but according to Marca, Madrid’s hierarchy have decided that they are ready to listen to offers for the 30-year-old this summer.
The reports also suggest that Madrid will be willing to accept just £43 million for Hazard in the summer, and it is claimed that Chelsea may he interested in a deal.
The Blues have been linked with Hazard over the past few months a few times, and even though he didnt really feature in the Champions league loss to Chelsea, he is still seen as a real icon at the Bridge.
Timo Werner finally replies to Thiago Silva’s wife
Thiago Silva’s wife slammed Timo Werner for his miss in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final clash against Real Madrid.
Werner spurned a good chance early in the game, and Silva’s wife Isabelle da Silva was very furious with the German.
“This is karma, guys,” she said on social media.
“Every team I go to there is a striker who keeps missing goals… this Werner, what is his name?!
“We need a goal, we need to win this match but my attackers don’t want to score, I don’t know why they don’t score.”
However, Isabelle took a new leaf in the second leg when Werner scored the opener this time around.
“Werner, very good. That’s what I’m talking about,” she said in a new video.
“You know how to score a goal. You’re the best, my friend! Love you!”
Werner has now revealed that Thiago Silva apologised to him following his wife’s earlier dig at him. The 25-year-old admitted that he took no offence and vowed to keep scoring goals, so that the wives of his teammates can be happy.
“Sometimes that can happen when the emotions are overflowing,” Werner told Sky Germany.
“Thiago also apologised directly to me the next day.
“That’s when the matter was ticked off. So I’m all the more happy today, not only for her but also with the other wives of my teammates!
“Hopefully me and the team can get them to cheer again. It’s for the best that the women that are at home are happy, and that the fans are happy.”
