‘After a year! Toni Kroos finally seeks revenge on Chelsea player following Champions League exit
As we all know The Blues defeated Real Madrid last season in the semi-final of the Champions League, as the Blues went on to win the competition.
The two sides met in the quarter-final this time around, and it was the Los Blancos who progressed.
Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos and Chelsea’s Mason Mount had a small feud last season.
Ahead of this tie last season, Kroos had played down the threat Chelsea posed.
When asked if Chelsea scared him, Kroos said: “In my 15 years playing football, I never lost sleep.”
In response, Mason Mount had said after Chelsea advanced to the final: “I saw one of their players say before that he doesn’t lose sleep over individuals. But as a team, they need to lose sleep over us as a team. We give so much, we defend for our lives.”
To which Kroos admitted he still isn’t losing sleep after their exit last season.
Still sleeping ok. But well done yesterday. congrats. Good luck in your first CL final. https://t.co/XTbtIkCXys

However, After knocking out Chelsea in the quarter-final on Tuesday, Kroos seemed to imitate Mount’s action from last season.
