After Ziyech’s deal ‘Three Chelsea signings’ that could follow him to Stamford Bridge

The Blues are likely to complete more major signings after Hakim Ziyech.

However, The Morocco international will link up with the squad on July 1 and more major signings could follow as Lampard is on the lookout for a striker, left-back and goalkeeper.

According to Chelsea247, the three players who could follow Ziyech to Stamford Bridge are below:

1. Moussa Dembele: Moussa Dembele is reportedly Frank Lampard’s top target ahead of the summer transfer window. Lampard is looking to boost his attack with a striker that can link up with the club’s leading scorer this season Tammy Abraham.

2. Nathan Ake: Chelsea are reportedly interested in re-signing Nathan Ake as they are looking to boost their defence. The Blues hold an advantage over other clubs keeping tabs on Ake as they agreed on a clause with Bournemouth that would allow them to buy him for only £40million. The Netherlands international plays predominantly as a centre-back but can also operate at left-back, just like he did during a previous stint at Watford.

Therefore, the 24-year-old would provide cover to some important positions for Lampard, who appears open to bringing him back to Stamford Bridge.

3. Nick Pope: Frank Lampard recently dropped starting goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga following some inconsistent displays. Lampard is said to be keen to sell Kepa and that means he will have to buy a new keeper. Reports suggest that Nick Pope is at the top of the Chelsea manager’s list following some impressive performances for Burnley. Pope has been established as the Clarets’ starting goalkeeper as he has made 25 appearances in the Premier League, in which he has amassed nine clean sheets and 79 saves – that is 38 more than Kepa all season.
