‘Am happy for him’ – Lampard happy Chelsea midfielder left club
Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater has completed a loan move to Turkish club Kasimpasa after failing make a competitive appearance for Chelsea in two years.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard believes the loan move to Kasimpasa is great for Drinkwater.
Lampard said: “It’s great for Danny [Drinkwater, who has joined Kasimpasa on loan] to go and play for himself and get some games.
“I’m not considering getting players out to bring in at this point. I’m just trying to make sure the balance of the squad is right.”
