Chelsea defeated Manchester City 1-0 at Wembley to advance out of the FA Cup semifinals.

The Manchester team advanced to the final at Wembley, where they will take on either Coventry City or fierce rivals Manchester United, thanks to a late goal from Bernardo Silva.

After losing to Real Madrid in the quarterfinals of the Champions League on penalties shootout in the middle of the week, Pep Guardiola’s team was able to bounce back.

Thiago Silva, a star defender for Chelsea, was spotted sobbing bitterly after full time. Silva’s wife has all but confirmed that the defender will quit Chelsea this summer after calling Manchester City’s FA Cup loss his “last dance.”

The 39-year-old Brazilian’s contract is scheduled to expire in June, and it doesn’t seem probable that he will stay at Chelsea any longer. It’s unclear if Chelsea intends to start talks about a new contract.

But Silva’s feelings in the capital seemed to indicate otherwise, and after the loss, he took to X to address his followers.
