“Announcement soon”- as Italian club and Chelsea reach agreement over transfer player
Italian club AC Milan have reportedly reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign Fikayo Tomori.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, AC Milan have told Chelsea they will be triggering the clause to sign Fikayo Tomori on a permanent deal for £25million.
The 23-year-old joined Milan on loan in January, impressing in his time there as he helped the team to finish second in Serie A and secure Champions League football.
Tomori has agreed a five year deal with AC Milan and the deal is expected to be announced next week.
Tomori has been a Chelsea player since joining the academy at under-eight level, before spending loan spells at Brighton, Hull and Derby.
He joined AC Milan on loan with the Italian club having an option to make the deal permanent after making just one league appearance under former boss Frank Lampard.
