Chelsea are one of four teams keeping tabs on Luka Jovic’s situation at Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain. The La Liga side may look to offload the Serbian in the summer with the Blues, along with Tottenham, AC Milan and Napoli, all monitoring developments.
The striker signed from Eintracht Frankfurt for €60m (£55m) last year but he has struggled for form, having scored just two goals in 24 appearances.
It is believed that manager Zinedine Zidane has lost patience with the 22-year-old and would consider offloading him if they can recoup the money they spent on him.
Jovic certainly impressed in his matches against Chelsea in the Europa League last season, but the Serbian international has clearly lost his confidence since moving to the Bernabeu. It would be a big risk if manager Frank Lampard opted to splash the cash on him.
