Antonio Rudiger can be Sarri’s new Koulibaly if he develops this one part of his game

It’s always interesting to compare the various “team of the week” we come across online.

Many of them end up like fantasy teams, with jsut goalscorers dominating.

This effort from Copa90 this week has two Chelsea men – Jorginho, who was widely praised for his performance in midfield.

He was key as his team battled their way back into the game in the second half, and also scored a penalty late in the first half that proved to be the turning point goal.

But they also have Antonio Rudiger, whose influence was less appreciated in the mainstream.

He was really dominant at the back alongside the imperious David Luiz, and he really showed the potential he has as a player pushing high up in Sarri’s line.

With his ability on the ball and his physical gifts, he can be like a quicker version of the manager’s old favourite, Kalidou Koulibaly.

He still has to produce the consistency of the Napoli stalwart, but he’s estbalished as first choice now for Sarri, so he will get the chance to show it in the months to come.

On his best days, he already is as good as Koulibaly, all he lacks is some consistency. If he can get that, we will have one of the best CB in the World at Chelsea.
