According to the latest report, Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi haven’t had the kind of game time he’d like to have featured in, and reports are now linking the Belgium international with a move away from Stamford Bridge.
The 26-year-old has made 12 Premier League appearances this season but he’s yet to start a Premier League fixture under Frank Lampard.
French football outlet Foot Mercato have claimed that struggling Aston Villa are seeking to strengthen their attack and have registered an interest in signing Belgian international forward Michy Batshuayi on loan from Chelsea this window.
With Euro 2020 set to kick off during the summer, Batshuayi will be thinking of making the team for this summer’s European Cup.
Batshuayi has been at Chelsea since 2016. He’s never been a first-team staple but he has scored 24 goals in 65 games, many of which he started off the bench.
