Barcelona and Juventus determined to agree deal for Chelsea £100,000 a-week defender

Serie A champions, Juventus and La Liga giants, Barcelona are both interested in securing the services of Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rudiger, according to the reports.

The German defender has effectively been used as a back-up this season for the impressive pairing of Kurt Zouma and Thiago Silva.

Rudiger has started only one game in the Premier League and, along with Fikayo Tomori, could be on the lookout for a new team when the transfer window will be re-opened in January.

ESPN reports that the 27-year-old is not short of high-profile suitors, with Serie A defending champions Juventus and La Liga giants Barcelona ready to make a move for his services.

AC Milan are also credited with an interest in the same report as Stefano Pioli’s men look to build on a very strong start to the season.

Former AS Roma cenre-back, Rudiger has spent three-and-a-half years at Stamford Bridge, playing 120 games for the West London club in that time, however, his time at the London giants seems to came to the end following the impressive form of summer arrival Thiago Silva.

Chelsea currently sit third in the Premier League table only one point separating them from Tottenham Hotspur.
