Caballero: Rash take on Robert Lewandowski to concede a penalty. Easily beaten at his near post for Ivan Perisic’s goal. Other than that, a decent performance. 4/10
Reece James: Was exposed defensively especially in the first-half when Bayern ran riot. Was a threat going forward. Got into some good shooting positions but his final output was poor. 5/10
Christensen: Suspect defending at times. Was easily beaten by Lewandowski for the penalty. Poor positioning for Bayern’s third goal. 4/10
Zouma: Not an easy game against a fierce Bayern attack, but he held his ground. His positioning for Bayern’s third was poor. 5/10
Emerson: Was poor defensively in the first-half, but attacking-wise, he was brilliant at times. 5/10
Kante: Worked really hard and put a good shift in the second half. Wasn’t an easy game. 6/10
Kovacic: Lost the ball for Bayern’s second goal. Couldn’t come to grips with Bayern’s play in the first half hour, but got better afterwards. 5/10
Barkley: Wasteful with possession. Got into some good corners with the ball, but his decision making was poor as well. 3/10
Hudson-Odoi: Was probably Chelsea’s best player on the night. Scored with an outstanding finish to beat Neuer from about 25 yards. Unfortunate for VAR to rule the goal out for offside. 7/10
Mount: Game went by him in the first half. Got better as the game progressed. 6/10
Tammy Abraham: Right place at the right time to tap home for Chelsea’s consolation goal. Was constantly offside all game, and it cost Hudson-Odoi a goal. 6/10
Subs: Giroud: Late sub for Tammy Abraham
