‘Best Belgian abroad’ Eden Hazard reveals what he does to individual awards

Eden Hazard has been named the best Belgian player abroad in 2018 which is another ‘trinket’ to his impressive collection of individual awards.

Hazard told VTM NIEUWS upon receiving the prize: ”My son Yannis got the first (Belgian abroad award), Leo will get this one, so I will need to win one for Samy too.”

He also won it last year narrowly beating Kevin De Bruyne, Dries Mertens, Romelu Lukaku. He added that he has no trophy cabinet at home and kids use the precious things as toys in their rooms or in the garage.

Hazard has had a fantastic year with his country (even playing abroad) firing his national side into the World Cup semifinal to subsequently finish third.

He has recently been linked with a move to Real Madrid again with only 1,5 years left on his Chelsea deal. He has stayed at Chelsea since 2012 featuring 327 times. He has 101 goals and 85 assists to his name.

Congrats man more awards on your way.
