Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham believes target Harry Kane is the ‘best striker in the world’, as the Blues eye up a potential summer deal.
Regarded as one of the best strikers in the game right now and one of the main reasons why Tottenham are such an exciting team to watch, there has been alot of speculation in the media over the past few days about the future of the England International.
Kane has not won any trophies just yet and with Spurs seemingly heading in the wrong direction under Jose Mourinho, he recently came out and admitted that he may have to leave the club in order to get the success that he is looking for, with Chelsea keen on trying to nail down his signature.
Frank Lampard may have the brilliant Abraham in the squad, but he still needs to add some world class talent to the attack and has been constantly linked with some of the games best, most talented and even some coming towards the back end of his career.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has put a £200million price tag on his star player’s head, and Kane is reportedly already receptive to making the switch to if offers arrive, and when asked about the quality of his England teammate, Abraham said on the Sky Sports website: ‘Best striker in the world. Just training with Harry, it’s crazy. drill after drill after drill.
‘Even when we just have little things like set pieces before a game, the ball coming to him in the box, everyone is just chilling, relaxing, and Harry Kane just bangs it top corner. ‘You’re just looking at him like ‘woah’.’ It is true, if Kane feels that he needs to leave Tottenham then he should, But it will be a massive shock to see him arrive at Chelsea, even if they paid the £200 million asking price.
Kane is one of the best in the game, and if Chelsea did sign him, they would be certain Premier League challengers.
