Blues tipped to secure £100m midfielder, Chairman sends transfer message to Chelsea, as Board submit £70m bid for player
According to the lastest reports in the media, Chelsea are leading the race to sign Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish.
Since helping Aston Villa get back into the Premier League just a few seasons ago, Grealish has developed into one of the very best and most creative players in the Premier League.
His performances has led to constant speculation that the likes of Chelsea is very keen to add him to the squad after the European Championships, but will have a battle as there are a number of clubs that are interested in a deal
However, reports on the Fichajes.net website has claimed that The Blues are in a strong position to complete a £100 million ($141m) deal for the 25-year-old, as they have the financial power to complete a deal
Grealish is still under contract at Villa Park until 2025, but Chelsea are ready to test their resolve by submitting a nine-figure bid at the end of the Championships.
Roundup…
There has been alot said about the brilliance of Grealish over the past few seasons and it is very easy to see just why so many clubs out there are keen to sign up his signature.
Chelsea already have a number of midfielders that are world class, but if they can add Grealish to the side, he will add that bit of extra quality that the club have been lacking in the Premier League.
Tuchel is expected to sign some big players this transfer window, but Grealish is a player that many Chelsea fans would love to see in the side on a weekly basis.
Chelsea target Harry Kane has been warned by Daniel Levy that the Tottenham chairman will protect the club’s interests in the transfer market this summer.
Kane has told Spurs he wants to leave in the search of trophies after becoming frustrated at the club’s lack of progress in recent years and his uncertain future has provoked the interest of some of Europe’s top sides.
We are seeking to improve the squad in the transfer window and add another striker to the squad that has the ability to find the back of the net on a weekly basis, rather than here and there.
However, Tottenham are intent on keeping their star man, who has three years left on his contract, and Levy sympathises with Kane’s frustrations but hinted a deal could be difficult to do.
“I am never going to talk about any specific player in public,” Levy said on the club’s official website. “All I will say is his frustrations in not winning are shared by me and all the fans and players. We all want to win.
“One of the items that Fabio will have to deal with when he comes in is which players are going to be retained, which will be asked to look for other clubs. There is a market out there. What we want and what other clubs want is not always possible to achieve. We will do whatever is right for the club.”
The club should keep a very close eye on this rumour because Kane is just the type of player that would send a real statement to the rest of the Premier League.
Chelsea Make Player-Plus-Cash Offer to Borussia Dortmund for Erling Haaland
Chelsea have submitted a bid to Borussia Dortmund for Erling Haaland, according to a report.
Haaland, 20, is a wanted man this summer – Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid have all been linked with the Norwegian.
Dortmund want to keep hold of their prized asset this year ahead of his £68 million release clause next summer following his 41 goals in all competitions during the 2020/21 campaign
The German side are reluctant to let him go this summer but could be convinced if a ‘crazy’ offer comes in. Chelsea have been exploring ways of trying to facilitate a deal, with Haaland reported to be open to a switch to the Champions League winners.
A new report from Italian-based journalist Ekrem Konur claims that Chelsea have placed an offer for Haaland. It is made up of €70 million plus Tammy Abraham in exchange for Haaland.
An extremely low offer considering Haaland’s valuation sits around the £150 million mark. Chelsea are yet to hear back from Dortmund, as per the report
