Boehly free to complete deal after Chelsea told Spanish International will make move!
CHELSEA have been told summer transfer target Gabri Veiga will be leaving Celta Vigo this summer.
Incoming Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly been promised that he will be given some funds this transfer window to add players that he needs to be a success.
There are a number of positions that the club need to fix – and adding a new central midfielder is something that the club need to do as there are also a few players linked with moves away.
According to The Guardian, Pochettino is prioritising the signing of at least one new central midfielder and is now intent on signing Veiga.
The report claims that Chelsea ‘are prepared to push hard’ for the 21-year-old but the club will face competition from both Liverpool and Barcelona.
Now – they have all been told that Veiga will be leaving Celta Vigo this summer – Journalist Florian Plettenberg tweeted: ‘Gabri #Veiga is ready for the next step now. He will leave Celta Vigo. His management is considering many options as he could become a future top player in central midfield.’
