Boehly ‘PUSHING HARD’ to bring €150m to Chelsea in monster move
CHELSEA are still pushing to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen who would cost ‘at least’ €150m
Former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel had a number of targets on the shopping list over the summer as he looked wot add a world class striker to the side – and the club were linked with numerous players – but couldn’t get a deal done
They had to wait until the very last minute of the transfer window to get the striker that Tuchel wanted – and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was signed by the club..
However – it is believed that incoming boss Mauricio Pochettino will look to add another striker to the attack at the end of the season – as he has been promised by Ted Boehly that there will be funds available to sign the players he wants
And that has led to suggestions that Osimhen is a man that Pochettino has asked the club to sign after his stunning season with the Italians led to the club securing a Seria A title.
According to new reports, Osimhen is at the top of the clubs list of potential new strikers and the club are still pushing to sign him despite his huge price tag.
But it is believed the club must sell players before they can sign Osimhen while the fact we have missed out on the Champions League could be ‘problematic’ in their hopes of landing his signature
