BREAKING: Chelsea announced first major signing ahead of January transfer
Ahead of January transfer window Chelsea ha already made one signing
However, The Blues have announced the signing of David Datro Fofana from Molde.
They give no details other than that the deal has been pre agreed, and they Fofana will arrive on the 1st of January.
Meanwhile, The striker has been a goal machine in the Norwegian league, and is still young enough to have plenty of room to grow.
While our total lack of options up front initially made us think Fofana would be a first team squad player, it increasingly looks like he will be immediately loaned out and allowed some time to develop elsewhere.
If that is the case, it does clearly beg the question of where we go next up front. Clearly Kai Havertz and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang aren’t enough to sustain us for 6 months – the question is whether we go for a long term option or another veteran loan or free transfer to shore us up until the summer.
