BREAKING: Chelsea complete first Mauricio Pochettino signing after agreeing deal with player
Chelsea have now completed the first signing of the Mauricio Pochettino era.
According to Portuguese outlet Record, Sporting Lisbon midfielder Manuel Ugarte will be a Chelsea player next season.
The 22 year old Uruguayan midfielder chose Chelsea over Paris Saint-Germain despite the French club offering more salary than Chelsea.
PSG offered Ugarte wages worth €5million yearly but the midfielder will earn €3.5million yearly at Chelsea. Ugarte chose Chelsea over PSG because he wanted a fulfil his dream of playing in the Premier League.
Chelsea will reportedly pay Sporting Lisbon a fee of €60million plus €5million in bonuses for the transfer of Ugarte.
