The blues are considering Crystal Palace winger Jadon Sancho, Villarreal’s Samuel Chukuwueze and Bayer Leverkusen’s Leon Bailey as potential alternatives to Jadon Sancho, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Chelsea were heavily linked with a £100m offer for the Borussia Dortmund star earlier this month, but it is believed that the 19-year-old will not be available in January.
It means manager Frank Lampard may turn to one of the other three names the club is currently considering.
However, Zaha has been suggested as a possible target but there is interest from other teams in the 27-year-old and he could cost £80m.
Chukuwueze would be cheaper, and the Nigerian international has been in decent form this season, having scored three goals and contributed two assists; the same figures as Zaha.
Bailey is likely to be a more expensive option with the Jamaican having been tracked by Chelsea in the past.
The 22-year-old has bagged four goals in 12 games so far this campaign.
