According to The Sun, Chelsea are keen to terminate Ethan Ampadu’s loan deal at RB Leipzig.
Ampadu has found game time hard to come since he joined RB Leipzig on loan last summer, with just five appearances totalling 157 minutes of action.
Football Insider claim the 19 year old midfielder could be sent on loan to Bristol City.
Wales boss Ryan Giggs would be happy with Chelsea’s decision to terminate Ampadu’s loan spell at RB Leipzig as he would want the midfielder playing more ahead of Euro 2020.
Giggs admitted in October: “It’s a concern because Ethan is at the age now where he needs to play.
“The last few camps he’s looked so much better in training but it’s very difficult for him to play 90 minutes and back-to-back games because he’s not had the minutes under his belt.
“He’s such a talent it’s hard to ignore.”
