The Chelsea board have held initial talks with defender Antonio Rudiger about a new long-term contract extension.
The Blues want the German international to sign a three-year deal that also includes the option of a further year.

Antonio Rudiger has made 18 appearances for Chelsea this season, scoring twice, taking his total to six goals in 105 appearances since a £31.5m switch from the Serie A side in 2017.
