BREAKING: Juventus set to sign Willian on free transfer in 2020

Juventus keep their eyes on Willian, as the Brazilian winger has not yet agreed to a new Chelsea deal, Tuttosport claims.

The Italian media outlet refers to their sources in Brazil while claiming that the possibility of the 31-year-old moving to Juventus is quite high.

The Serie A giants have acquired a certain reputation when it comes to free signings.

Since 2011, the likes of Andrea Pirlo, Dani Alves, Aaron Ramsey and many more joined the Bianconeri after they’ve seen their contracts with previous clubs expired.

Willian risks becoming a free agent next summer, as the negotiations between Chelsea and the player about the new agreement seem to have gone quiet.

According to rumours, Chelsea want to extend the No.10’s contract for another year, until 2021, while Willian is eager for a longer deal, until 2022.

The fact that the Brazilian has so far failed to impress under Frank Lampard does not help.

Although it’s worth noting that his pre-season was effectively ruined by a muscle injury he suffered at Copa America.
