BREAKING: Manchester City ready to spend £90 million on Chelsea transfer target

According to The Sun, Premier League champions Manchester City are ready to spend £90 million on Chelsea transfer target Jadon Sancho.

Sancho quit Manchester City for Borussia Dortmund in 2017 for £8 million due to lack of opportunities at Manchester City.

He has become one of the most sought-after talents in Europe after scoring 20 goals in just 44 starts for Dortmund.

The 19 year old is reportedly keen on returning to the Premier League and Manchester City are keen to beat Chelsea for his signature.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is also keen on signing the England international and the Blues hope the presence of Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson-Odoi will convince Sancho to join Chelsea instead.

They suggest that Dortmund could sell, with the Bundesliga side looking to fund their move for striker Erling Haaland from RB Salzburg.

Chelsea meanwhile lost 1-0 at home to Bournemouth yesterday and will be looking to improve their squad in January.
