Callum Wilson predicts where Chelsea will finish in the EPL this season “100% they will finish there”
Newcastle United forward, Callum Wilson has shared his thoughts on where Chelsea will finish in the English Premier League for the 2023-24 season.
The Blues finished outside the top-half of the campaign last term (12th), which left a lot of the fans feeling disappointed.
The poor form of the team last season might have been down to a myriad of reasons, especially the frequent change of managers at the club.
This season has however started well for the Blues, even if their current standing on the table doesn’t exactly reflect their displays.
Chelsea are 10th on the log after picking up two wins and a draw from their last three engagements. And Newcastle’s Wilson believes the team have shown they have what it takes to finish in the top eight of the division.
Speaking on The Footballer’s Football Podcast, the England international said: “Chelsea will finish in the top half, 100%. They’ll be in the top eight teams. They’re too good to not.”
While finishing in the top eight will be progress for some people, Chelsea really cannot take that considering the fans are used to the culture of winning and competing at the highest levels, which have been the hallmark of the Blues for the last two decades.
