Chelsea £120,000 a-week star made decision over his future

Chelsea forward Willian is reportedly prioritizing a new deal at Stamford Bridge despite recent reports linking him with a summer move to Barcelona for free.

As a result of his existing contract being due to end in the summer, Brazilian forward and his agents have been attempting to agree fresh terms with the West London club hierarchy.

However, the relevant parties are yet to reach a positive agreement, keeping open the possibility of the midfielder leaving Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

Despite Spanish giants being keen to secure the services of the Brazilian, ESPN reports that the 31-year-old is focused on staying at Chelsea and become a mentor to young players like Callum Hudson-Odoi, Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic.

The report claims that Brazilian forward, who wants a three-year deal, and his family are settled in London after spending six-and-a-half years with the team.

The Blues head-coach Frank Lampard has previously called on the club board to reach a compromise with a player and keep him at Stamford Bridge as he has started most of the Blues games this campaign.

This season Willian has starlet 31-games for Chelsea in all competitions where he has managed to found back of the net five times while providing five assists.
