Chelsea board to allow 5 first team stars to leave the club this summer after latest club decisions
According to the latest report from The Sunday World, Chelsea are ready to let some players leave the club to raise funds for upcoming transfer window.
However, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is set to back Thomas Tuchel in the transfer market, with a host of names being looked at including Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan as we are all well aware of by now.
The report goes on to say that Chelsea are prepared to sell 5 of their own players to help fund some of the new targets this summer, with some big names being mentioned.
They claim the club are open to selling Kepa Arrizabalaga, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Ross Barkley, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Tammy Abraham for the right price this summer.
Perhaps the only surprise name there is Hudson-Odoi, and personally I can only see Chelsea loaning him out if they do let him leave this summer, with many inside the club still rating him highly.
