Morning headlines on our Beloved Club Chelsea.

Anjorin agrees new Blues deal: Chelsea youngster Tino Anjorin has agreed to sign a new long-term deal with the Blues but with the coronavirus lockdown that is happening, the deal’s official confirmation will be delayed.

Anjorin came on for his Premier League debut in the 4-0 victory over Everton last month, which turned out to be the final game in the league before the postponement of the competition.

The 18-year-old winger has just over a year remaining on his current deal at Stamford Bridge, and Goal report that he will become the ninth academy prospect to agree new terms with the Blues this season.

Man City tipped to hijack Chilwell move: Chelsea will have to face competition for the signing of left-back Ben Chilwell with Premier League champions Manchester City, according to One Football.

City were heavily linked with the Leicester City left-back in the summer of last year but opted to stick with Benjamin Mendy and Oleksandr Zinchenko instead.

The report states that City are likely to return for Chilwell and could offer big money to land the England left-back. The Daily Mail believes Chelsea could offer up to £80million for the highly-rated 23-year-old, meaning the pressure will be on City to at least match the Blues’ offer.

However, the Foxes are under no pressure to sell Chilwell and may hold out for even bigger money than that – something that would perhaps eclipse the £80m fee they received for Harry Maguire from Manchester United just under a year ago.
