Chelsea desperate in signing €50m-rated technically gifted attacker

Chelsea are willing to pay €55m to sign Real Madrid attacker Isco. Once considered to be one of the best playmakers in the world, Spain international has suffered a dip in form since the last campaign. In the 2019/20 campaign so far, he has played 16 games across all competitions, scoring a goal with Valencia in the Supercopa.

London club are said to be interested in signing Isco and Chelsea are willing to pay €55m for him, with initial discussions with his entourage beginning. La Liga giants president Florentino Perez has no intentions to let go of the 27-year-old star but might change his mind if a correct bid is made at the end of the campaign.

London club currently have some pretty good midfielders at their disposal in N’Golo Kante, Jorginho, Mate Kovacic, Mason Mount, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ross Barkley. The addition of the Spanish playmaker might be redundant, but he would certainly add more depth to Frank Lampard’s midfield.

Isco joined Real Madrid from Malaga in 2013 with a €30m deal. He became a crucial figure for the club and won many titles over the years.

Spaniard is a regular member of the national team starting line-up and also played in the 2018 World Cup which is already a big achievement for the playmaker.

Chelsea have excellent results in the Premier League this season as they are in a third place in the table.

Blues signed Mateo Kovacic from Real Madrid and Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund last summer. London club heavily linked with Lyon striker Moussa Dembele and Inter Milan centre-forward Lautaro Martinez.
