Chelsea’s former midfielder Oscar, who’s currently playing for the Chinese side Shanghai SIPG, was among the first to congratulate the Blues on a very special occasion.
However, Chelsea fans have literally swarmed Twitter, urging the 28-year-old to come back to Stamford Bridge.
Oscar is still loved and remembered at Chelsea:
Oscar joined Chelsea from Brazilian club International in July 2012 and spent four and a half seasons at the club.
All in all, the playmaker made 203 appearances for the Blues, scored 38 goals, provided 37 assists and won 4 major trophies, including 2 Premier League titles and a Europa League trophy.
Oscar, who departed for Shanghai SIPG back in 2016, would have become a solid addition to our midfield line, adding up more creativity in the build-up and of course a touch of trademark ‘joga bonita’. Would you welcome Oscar back?
