Chelsea full squad available to face Burnley confirmed.

New Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel would have a full squad to choose from for the game against Burnley.

The new gaffer had one day with the team before facing Wolves, and key midfielder N’Golo Kante was sidelined for that game due to a thigh injury.

Kante is now available for selection against Burnley, and it will be interesting to see the team the manager rolls out against Sean Dyche’s side.

Full Chelsea squad available to face Burnley:

Goalkeepers: Edouard Mendy, Kepa Arrizabalaga & Willy Caballero.

Defenders: Reece James, Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger, Kurt Zouma, Thiago Silva, Andreas Christensen, Ben Chilwell, Marcos Alonso & Emerson Palmieri.

Midfielders: Hakim Ziyech, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Jorginho, N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, Mason Mount, Billy Gilmour, Kai Havertz, Faustino Anjori & Christian Pulisic.

Forwards: Tammy Abraham, Timo Werner & Olivier Giroud.

Meanwhile, Tuchel has revealed how he plans to use N’Golo Kante.

“I think he’s strongest in a double six, in the centre and heart of the game,” Tuchel said. “It gives him a little more freedom than when he plays a single six, which he can do.

“But for me, he is a double six because we can use his energy, the volume in his game and his ability to recuperate and recover balls everywhere on the pitch.

“He’s a guy who is a big, big helper for everybody, with a big potential, with a mentality of a water-carrier, but at the same time a world-class player who played a crucial role in the World Cup win for France.

That’s why it’s super important to have him in the team, for me, as the double six. It gives him a bit more freedom than the single six, which demands a bit more discipline and maybe clips his wings a little bit.”
