Chelsea are reportedly still interested in signing Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to Standard Sport, Chelsea will make a move for Zaha in the summer only if Crystal Palace lower their asking price of £80 million.
Zaha submitted a transfer request last summer after Palace turned down bids from Arsenal and Everton, only for the 27-year-old to end up staying put.
It is believed the 27 year old is keen on joining Chelsea in the summer but the Blues aren’t willing to match Crystal Palace valuation of the winger.
Zaha’s Crystal Palace teammate Andros Townsend, believes Zaha deserves another chance of a big move, having previously had a disappointing spell at Manchester United before returning to Palace.
“For myself, eventually he will get his big move and nobody at Palace will begrudge him that big move because he deserves it,” Townsend told Talksport.
“But hopefully we’ve got his talent for longer than this season.”
