Chelsea have made offer to sign defender – told £38M will get deal done

According to Daily Mail, Chelsea are in talks with Southampton to re-sign former right-back Tino Livramento.

Chelsea sold Livramento to Southampton for £8million two years ago. Chelsea hope to loan Livramento back to Southampton after re-signing him this summer.

Southampton value the 20-year old right-back at £38million and have recently rejected offers from Newcastle United for the former Chelsea right-back.

Newcastle had originally offered £12m but had raised their offer in recent days to around £21m.

Chelsea’s decision to re-sign Livramento comes as a surprise with Reece James and new signing from Lyon Malo Gusto already on Chelsea’s books.
