Chelsea have reportedly spoken with Borussia Dortmund over the possibility of signing Christian Pulisic.
That’s according to the Daily Mail. It’s claimed that Pulisic is valued in the region of £60M, and is also attracting interest from Bayern Munich.
Pulisic is a logical target from a Chelsea standpoint. He’s one of the most exciting, young, attacking players on the planet – and ours are heading over the hill.
Both Willian and Pedro will be over 30 come the end of 2018. Their time at the top level will soon be coming to a close, and we need to be prepared for that.
We have Callum Hudson-Odoi coming through, with Kenedy out on-loan at Newcastle United, but it wouldn’t harm us to look to the transfer market to strengthen.
At this stage, it’s unclear whether our interest in Pulisic will go any further than initial enquiries. We hope it does, though, he’d be an excellent addition.
