Fulham winger, Willian has urged his teammates to keep their heads up and remain focused, following their recent defeat at the hands of Chelsea.
The Cottagers were handed a 2-0 loss in their own backyard by a resurgent Chelsea side on Monday night, with goals from Mykhailo Mudryk and Armando Broja.
The win also see Chelsea move to 11th on the league table — two places ahead of Fulham, who are now 13th, but Willian insists they must learn from their loss and keep going.
The Brazilian said: “We need to learn from our mistakes because this is another derby defeat.
“The first twenty minutes decided the outcome of the game. In the second half we tried to create more chances, and we almost managed to convert some of them. It’s difficult to play while losing by two goals.
“It was hard to concede the second goal straight away, but that’s part of football. We must learn from these mistakes and take the field again on Saturday.”
