Chelsea open talks for Silva replacement, Madrid superstar wants Chelsea move, as Tuchel sanctions £signing on £100m midfielder

Chelsea have made their move to sign up a new defender after opening talks with the representatives of Wolfsburg star Maxence Lacroix

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has done a very fine job at the club since his move to the Premier League and he he has been constantly praised for making this Blues side one of the best defensively in the Premier League.

However, the German knows that he needs to strengthen in that area of the pitch and has been eyeing up a move for a few defenders, but it seems that the Chelsea boss has made up his mind on whom he would like

Sky Germany suggest Tuchel is a keen admirer after keeping close tabs on Lacroix and discussions are in place over a possible agreement for the sought-after 21-year-old.

Lacroix is widely regarded as one of the finest young defenders in the German top flight and Wolfsburg are reluctant to part with such a key player.

Roundup…

There is no doubt that Lacroix is a very fine young defender that has a very bright future in the game, and to be honest, if Chelsea do sign him, he will have the opportunity to learn from Thiago Silva before replacing the Great Brazilian.

He will only cost £26 million, which is not alot of money for this Chelsea side, and he add some quality to the side, so many will be hoping that a deal goes through because Chelsea have a serious chance of winning back that Premier League title next season with a dew quality signings.

Real Madrid superstar wants Chelsea move

Real Madrid superstar Eden Hazard is reportedly ready to move back to Chelsea in a bid to revive his career. The Belgian’s stint in Madrid so far has been disappointing. The forward has not been able to stay fit long enough to make an impact.

According to El Chiringuito, Hazard is looking to leave Real Madrid after the club’s fans turned on him following Los Blancos’ defeat to Chelsea in the Champions League semi-final. The Belgian was seen smiling and laughing with his former teammates after the game, which irked the Madrid fans.

Hazard reportedly prefers a move back to Chelsea and Real Madrid also seem keen on parting ways with Hazard in the summer.

However, earlier this month, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane spoke about the Belgian and was confident that Hazard would come good for the club in the future. He said:

“All the players have their hearts in the club but for now it hasn’t been possible to see the Eden Hazard we want to see. But I believe he is going to get there. It’s a difficult moment with everything that’s happened but he has a contract and what he wants is to succeed here.”

Hazard joined Real Madrid from Chelsea back in 2019 for a fee of £130 million. The forward was considered to be one of the best players in the world at the time. However, since his move, the Belgian has had a torrid time with injuries. If Real Madrid do decide to move on from the Belgian, they would look to recoup a good part of the £130 million they paid for him back in 2019.

Tuchel sanctions £signing on £100m midfielder

Reports have claimed that Thomas Tuchel has sanctioned the signing of Declan Rice for Chelsea in the transfer window.

After fully establishing himself at the Hammers and at International level, Rice quickly became a transfer target for former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard last summer, but the board were not willing to part with £80 million.

And their interest in the midfielder seemed to disappear with the arrival of Tuchel, who has a few other targets that he has been eyeing up over the last few months in order to win back that Premier League title next season.

However, The Daily Telegraph has not reported that Tuchel has told the Chelsea board that he would like to see Rice signed in the summer, although his asking price is now closer to £100 million.

Tuchel would have seen little of Rice before replacing Lampard at the start of the year but the Telegraph say he has quickly become a fan of the England international and has recommended him to club chief Marina Granovskaia.

However, they will not be forced into making a crazy offer to get done, as we said, Tuchel has other targets that the Blues are interested in.
