Chelsea open talks to sign world-record €222 million Brazilian star
Chelsea have opened talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a possible summer transfer for Neymar.
This is According to Le10Sport via GOAL.
New Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino wants to reunite with Neymar at Chelsea, having previously managed the Brazilian forward during his time as PSG manager.
PSG will be looking to get a “good” price for Neymar in an attempt to recoup a portion of the world-record €222 million fee that they paid to Barcelona in 2017.
PSG are reportedly looking to use the funds raised from selling Neymar to buy Manchester City star Bernardo Silva.
Neymar scored 18 goals and provided 17 assists in 29 appearances across all competitions, before he suffered an ankle injury in February, which sidelined him for the rest of the season.
It remains to be seen if Neymar chooses to move to Stamford Bridge as Chelsea will not be playing in the Champions League next season.
