Chelsea player has agreed €7.5 million a year deal with Serie A Club, as Brazilian star opens door to possible Chelsea move
As we all know Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku struggled to make an impact in his first year at Stamford Bridge, after sealing a £97.5m move from Inter Milan.
It hasn’t worked out well for the Belgian at Stamford Bridge, with reports claiming he was seeking a move away from the club.
Sky Italy had reported that Inter Milan were due to meet Romelu Lukaku’s lawyer on Tuesday to enquire about the feasibility of a potential move back to Serie A.
Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta has said the club are in “no rush” over Lukaku’s potential return but remain keen on re-signing him this summer.
Meanwhile, reports from Italy claim that Inter Milan have made the first step in their pursuit of Romelu Lukaku’s return to the club.
According to Italian media outlet Gazzetta Dello Sport, the Serie A giants have now agreed personal terms with Lukaku, who is willing to earn €7.5 million per year, which is about 50 percent of what he’s currently earning at Chelsea.
Following the meeting on Tuesday, the two parties are believed to have had successful negotiations, and it’s now up to Chelsea to sanction the sale this summer.

“When we talk about leaving I’m a little speechless.”
