Chelsea receives strong warning from Three logo after suspending sponsorship with club
Following Roman Abramovich sanctioned by the UK government, Three suspended their sponsorship deal with the club.
However, The Blues have been urged to remove the logo of sponsor Three from the club’s match-day shirts “as soon as possible” by the British telecommunications company.
Chelsea have been unable to remove the Three logo from the matchday shirts due to severe operational restrictions imposed on the club following the UK government’s decision to freeze Roman Abramovich’s assets.
Three have now urged Chelsea to find a way of removing their logo from the club’s shirts “as soon as possible”.
A Three spokesperson said: “We understand from discussions with Chelsea FC that there are ongoing issues with removing the Three logo from the shirts, as a result of kit supply issues and licence restrictions.
“We have requested that Chelsea reverts with a solution to this issue as soon as possible.”
