Chelsea set to lose another ‘Star’ with PSG and Bayern among interested clubs

According to reports, Chelsea set to lose another young talent from their academy.

The youth academy at Cobham has produced all manner of exciting youngsters in recent seasons, and while some have broken into the first team, others have been lost to rivals.

This January alone saw Clinton Mola and Tariq Lamptey agree moves away from the club after long and successful careers in the youth academy.

Now, according to Football Insider, there could be another departure on the cards. This time it’s an even younger player, the talented 16 year old Samuel Illing-Junior.

They list Schalke, Ajax, PSG and Bayern as among the teams interested in the youngster, who has starred at youth levels for the Blues as a forward.

They say Illing-Junior is seen as a “star in the making”, and losing him would be a “major blow” to Chelsea as they continue to see their brighest prospects slip through their fingers.
