Chelsea set to make ‘forced’ move to sign £100m attacker in January

Several reports claims Chelsea have been heavily linked with signing striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli.

However, There of course will be other clubs interested, but multiple outlets have reported that Chelsea are certainly keen on bringing him in as well.

It looks unlikely that Napoli will sell him in the winter window, so clubs might have to wait until the summer.

But this could ‘force’ Chelsea to make their move earlier in January, according to journalist Fraser Fletcher this week.

Fraser joined me on my Podcast, The SPTC Podcast, yesterday to discuss Chelsea’s plans for the January window, and of course Osimhen’s name came up.

Fraser says he is Chelsea’s priority option for striker, and to get ahead of the competition as they did with Enzo Fernandez last January, Chelsea could be ‘forced’ to make a move to try and sign Osimhen next month!

They would have to see if Napoli will budge on selling in January, but it would take a lot of money to do so.
