Chelsea Striker Tammy Abraham Set to Make England Squad

Tammy Abraham scored two fantastic goals for Chelsea on Saturday, helping his team beat Norwich City 3-2 in the Premier League.

The 21-year old really stood up when it counted and scored the vital winning goal mid-way through the second half, when his team desperately needed the three points.

Now, he is in contention to make the latest England national squad, as Gareth Southgate considers taking him along for the Euro 2020 qualifiers, according to The Independent.

Southgate is busy making his preparations to face Bulgaria and Kosovo, and will officially name his squad this Thursday.

Abraham is already a senior England international, having gained two caps already.

But he hasn’t been involved recently, so will be eager to join back up with the squad.

He’s had an up and down couple of weeks, being subjected to online racist abuse and criticism from his supposed own fans, so he will be keen to finish the month strong and turn it on it’s head.
