Chelsea ‘strongly Interested’ In Signing €30m-rated Spanish Attacker

Chelsea’s interest in signing Napoli attacker Jose Callejon appears to be genuine. Maurizio Sarri wants to reunite with the Spaniard this summer.

It’d come as no surprise if we looked to strengthen in that area. Come the end of 2018, both Pedro and Willian will be the wrong side of 30.

That’s if they’re both still playing for the club. Willian has been constantly linked with the exit door, while Chelsea could cash-in on Pedro, who has just one-year left on his contract.

Callejon could be a potential target. Reports have surfaced in Italy that Sarri is hoping to bring him to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Convincing Aurelio De Laurentiis to part with another of his prize possessions, following the arrival of Jorginho, will be extremely difficult.

Not to mention that Callejon himself is 31-years-old. We need some fresh blood, not players heading over the hill. Pursuing him this summer makes little sense to us.
