Chelsea struggling to convince player who has scored 11 goals and provided 6 assists to sign new contract

Chelsea are struggling to convince highly rated youngster Faustino Anjorin to sign a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2025.

The 18 year old is highly rated at the club after registering 11 goals and six assists in 22 appearances across various youth levels this season.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard gave him his debut earlier this season in a League Cup game against Grimsby Town.

According to Goal, Anjorin wants to feel secure about being afforded first-team chances before pledging his longer-term future to the club.

Chelsea’s interest in 16 year old Birmingham midfielder Jude Bellingham could also add to Anjorin’s concerns about extending his Chelsea contract.
